Use a simple command to find the MAC Address to network hardware in Microsoft Windows.
This document explains how to find the IP number and MAC address of a network card in Windows. Windows 9x/2000/XP/Vista UNSUPPORTED NOTE: Windows 95/98, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista are no longer supported by the Help Desk.

Type cmd in the Open prompt of the Run menu and click OK to launch a command prompt window. Type ipconfig /all at the command prompt to check the network card settings. The IP number and MAC address are listed by ipconfig under IP Address and Physical Address. You can copy the Physical Address and IP Address from the command prompt by right clicking in the command prompt and clicking Mark.
